My Own Struggle and Life Recovery
My own story is difficult, tragic and astonishingly beautiful. Born a mistake to a family who did not want another child, parents with severe mental illness, chemical dependency and clinical depression and three older sisters who shared in suffering through our childhood, not so different from millions of others, but it is my personal story. Early adulthood is a vague and colorful recollection of relationships, financial and employment struggles much like that which was carried over from childhood - all leading up to a serious life and death dilemma. I knew, and made a Decision (with a capital D) something had to change and, proof in retrospect, I was not able to accomplish that alone. As confident and independent as I appeared to the outside world, the inside was the exact opposite, self-sufficiency was woefully insufficient. Is life perfect today? Of course not! Life is in session every single day. Tragedy has touched the deepest recesses of my being - so has love, compassion, and a servant’s heart ready and willing to help others heal as I have healed. The key is in identifying the survival skills we possess that are blocking us from a peaceful and abundant life, and what skills we possess and acquire that can release those blocks and turn the tables. I want to share with You what I have learned through personal experience and education so that You can attain a joyous, peaceful and rich life that you love.
